Forbidden Knowledge
Slaves to belly and
Slaves to cheer
Slaves to such
Distract from fear
Reaching for knowledge heights
With opposite peer
Has mad the mind
Deaf the inner ear
The heart broken
Twisted and queer
Order disarrayed since
The fabric of sense
Was tattered and frayed
Old things walk now broken, dismayed
Until the price of acquiring forbidden knowledge is paid
Another B3autiful Dark poem is made
With a sound to hear
And deep thoughts prayed…
